**Job Overview**

We are seeking a results-driven Senior Business Development Executive to join our Commercial Logistics team in Melbourne. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, converting leads into customers, and expanding our presence through value-added logistics solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent the company at industry events, client meetings, and webinars.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver customer-centric logistics solutions.
  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline using CRM tools and market research.
  • Identify, qualify, and convert leads, including cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
  • Lead commercial proposals and negotiate contracts with new and existing clients.
  • Develop and execute sales plans, targets, and strategies for a specific industry vertical or region.

Requirements:

  • Understanding and experience in freight forwarding or logistics.
  • 5+ years' experience in freight forwarding, specialising in Key Account Management, customer solutions and operations.
  • Proven ability to generate leads and develop strong customer relationships.
  • Strong commercial insight with effective negotiation and communication skills.
  • Skilled in using CRM platforms along with planning and reporting tools.
  • Results driven, organised, proactive, and committed to delivering exceptional customer service.
