About this Role

As an Environmental Management Systems Coordinator, you will be responsible for integrating two environmental management systems into one. You will provide technical guidance across the organization to ensure best industry environmental management system practices are at the forefront of what we do.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing environmental risk registers
  • Integrating the existing EMS into one certified EMS
  • Providing technical advice and assistance in implementing 14001 and 15001 standards
  • Reviewing procedures to ensure they are fit for purpose across the organization
  • Capturing environmental incidents and ensuring internal processes are suitable and effective
  • Bringing in environmental legislation and requirements from the compliance officer
  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive environmental management system

Requirements

  • Industry experience in leading a certified EMS or HSEQ management system
  • Demonstrated experience in environmental change management
  • Effective communication and engagement skills in leading training programs
  • Substantial experience in risk mitigation and management
  • Effective prioritization and time management skills to deliver long-term objectives and day-to-day challenges
