Employee Relations Specialist

As an Employee Relations Specialist, you will serve as a trusted advisor to leaders, providing expert guidance on all matters related to employee relations. This role is responsible for advising leaders on performance, conduct, grievances, and investigations, as well as coaching managers to navigate people challenges confidently and in line with industrial instruments and legislation.

About The Role

This role requires a strong understanding of Australian employment law and IR frameworks, as well as the ability to manage sensitive and complex people matters. You will work closely with stakeholders at all levels to resolve conflicts and improve workplace relationships.

  • Provide expert advice on employee relations matters.
  • Coach managers to navigate people challenges.
  • Support organisational change and implementation of HR policies.
  • Keep accurate records and contribute to process improvements.
About You

You are a seasoned HR professional with 5+ years' experience in employee relations, holding relevant qualifications in HR, Business, or a related discipline. You possess excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills, and are able to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Proven track record in managing sensitive and complex people matters.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian employment law and IR frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Relevant certifications or designations in HR or a related field.
