Employment Law Advisor

We are seeking an experienced HR professional with a background in employment law to join our Group as an Advisory and Compliance Partner.
About the Role- Review HR practices to identify compliance risks and misalignment with obligations.
- Provide clear advice on industrial instruments, employment legislation and policies.
- Develop and deliver findings, reports and recommendations tailored to business context and risk appetite.
- Collaborate with external legal advisors to interpret and operationalise advice.
- Suggest development and refinement of HR frameworks and processes.
- Maintain registers of compliance risks and monitor remediation activities.
- Assist in building internal knowledge through education materials.
- Stay up-to-date with legislative and industrial changes and translate them into actionable impacts for the organisation.
- Support tracking and reporting of key People metrics, ensuring alignment with workplace gender equality commitments.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of employment law and be able to provide practical advice on complex issues. They will also have excellent communication skills and be able to work collaboratively with stakeholders.
