This is a unique opportunity to work at the heart of Queensland's hospitality and tourism sector, supporting a diverse membership base—from family-run pubs to premium accommodation providers—on a broad range of ER and compliance matters.

What You'll Be Doing

As the first point of contact for member enquiries, your day will be varied, engaging and impactful. You'll:

- Provide accurate, practical advice on Modern Awards, NES, public holiday entitlements, performance management, terminations, redundancies, and more

- Assist members with long service leave calculations and annual wage reviews

- Support and advocate during Fair Work Commission or Human Rights Tribunal matters

- Write practical ER content including fact sheets, guides and bulletins

- Deliver webinars and occasional training programs to members

- Build strong working relationships across the member network

What You'll Bring

- Solid knowledge of the Fair Work Act 2009 and modern awards

- Proven experience delivering ER advice—ideally in a member services, legal or employer association setting

- Confidence in written and verbal communication, with the ability to simplify complex legislation

- Strong research, case prep and advocacy skills

- Exceptional time management and the ability to juggle priorities

- A team-player mindset with the initiative to work independently
