Job Opportunity for IT Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist to provide technical assistance and maintenance of broadcast and IT equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience in Linux OS, Windows Systems Administration, Network Administration and Support, and Hardware Troubleshooting.

The selected individual will work collaboratively with our team to ensure minimal downtime and optimal reliability of systems. Additionally, they will provide professional support and guidance to end users and clients, as well as document systems and procedures.

Our company prides itself on creating content that gets people talking, and this role offers exposure to a diverse range of equipment, from studio cameras and standard IT infrastructure to customized applications, servers, and SAN storage.

  • Technical support and maintenance of Broadcast and IT equipment
  • Collaborate with equipment suppliers to ensure minimal downtime and optimal reliability of systems
  • Provide professional support and guidance to end users and clients
  • Document systems and procedures
Qualifications and Experience:

Required qualifications include degrees in IT or Systems Engineering, along with relevant experience in the field. Additional advantageous experience includes post-production systems, broadcast graphics equipment, media asset management systems, and SQL or Oracle databases.

Skills and Attributes:

This position involves a rotating shift roster, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and occasional overnight shifts.
