Role Summary

The Melbourne Airport leadership team is seeking a key member to oversee the safe, compliant, and efficient delivery of scheduled operations.

">Key Responsibilities:">
  • ">
  • Proactively identify and manage operational issues, mitigating any impacts on customers and operations.">
  • Coordinate aircraft movements in collaboration with stakeholders, including JOCC, Jetstar Engineering, airport authorities, ground services providers, and other relevant parties.">
  • Operational oversight of ground service providers and planning, developing, and implementing projects related to aircraft turnaround services to deliver tactical, operational, and strategic improvement initiatives.">
  • Supporting the management of domestic and international operational performance, consistency in achieving KPIs relating to safety, on-time performance, customer satisfaction, and financial deliverables.">
  • Supporting the airport's customer service delivery to ensure it aligns with company brand values and acting as a secondary escalation point for problem resolution and disrupt management.">
  • Coordinate operational turnaround requirements ensuring activities occur inline within our Precision timing Schedule.">
  • Building strong, professional relationships with airport leaders, stakeholders, and suppliers to ensure day-to-day customer service standards and on-time performance are successful.">
  • Lead and maintain a skilled and enthusiastic workforce in line with business volume and targets.">

  • Strong frontline experience with well-developed knowledge of airport operations.">
  • Exposure to front-line team management.">
  • Strong customer service orientation with emphasis on service excellence and on-time performance.">
  • Strong coordination background and experience in managing conflicting and dynamic priorities.">
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities while maintaining a strong service culture.">
  • Results-driven individual capable of delivering quality outcomes in a timely manner.">
  • Experience in managing teams in a shift/rostered work environment.">
  • Collaborative approach with ability to engage and influence relevant stakeholders.">
