Urgent Cardiovascular Research Leadership Opportunity

Job Description
Our team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead the Victorian cardiovascular research network. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving day-to-day operations, supporting strategic goals, and building connections with researchers, funding bodies, health networks, and government agencies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the health and medical research environment in Victoria and Australia, including research funding schemes and collaborative networks.
- Experience in planning and delivering research, capacity building, and/or networking events.
- The ability to manage projects, have strong organisational and administrative skills, and work proactively and autonomously.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain positive and effective working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, work with and manage diverse committees.
- Proven collaboration and high-level negotiation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for audiences ranging from government, researchers, executives, donors, and general community.
