About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Manager to join our team at Sofitel Brisbane Central. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process for all hotel supplies, ensuring that we maintain the highest standards of quality and cost-efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procurement Planning: Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to meet the hotel's needs, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Vendor Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key vendors, negotiating prices and quality to ensure the best value for the hotel.
  • Inventory Management: Implement and oversee inventory stocktakes for hotel stores and outlets, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Purchase Order Management: Be responsible for all purchase orders for food and beverage, general goods, and other items, ensuring compliance with hotel policies and procedures.
  • Supply Chain Analysis: Analyze demand, supply, and price to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Skills: Strong negotiation and vendor management skills, excellent organizational and time-management abilities, proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
