Agricultural Sales and Operations Leadership Role

About The Position

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead the sales and operations functions of a high-performing agricultural rental unit. As our key executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving business efficiency through strong supplier relationships and streamlined sales operations.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead product management, procurement, sales operations, and administration to achieve operational goals
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with seasonal demand and business objectives
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and customers
  • Oversee inventory levels, delivery schedules, and order processing to ensure uninterrupted supply
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activity to support product selection and pricing decisions
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and environmental standards
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Agribusiness, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Extensive experience in agricultural procurement or sales operations, ideally within large-scale farming
  • Strong knowledge of agricultural inputs, market dynamics, and farming practices
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement platforms
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and travel to suppliers and customers
