You will lead the development and implementation of procurement strategies to secure regionally sourced goods and services. This role involves strategic sourcing, supplier management, and contract negotiation.

  • Develop and implement regional procurement strategies for regionally sourced goods and services.">
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities for regionally sourced goods and services.">
  • Initiate, develop, and negotiate supplier agreements.">
  • Analyse market trends and develop category knowledge.">
  • Manage strategic procurement projects with a cross-functional impact.">
  • Oversee supplier performance, quality, customer support, and price management.">
  • Build new supplier relationships and develop alternative sources and solutions.">
  • Ensure alignment and compliance with national and global procurement strategies and agreements.">
  • Provide guidance and assistance on procurement matters to operations.">

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Procurement or Operations in an industrial or manufacturing setting.">
  • Experience in strategic sourcing, supplier management, and contract negotiation.">
  • Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams.">
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis, market benchmarking, and decision-making.">
  • Ability to identify opportunities, drive process change, and overcome resistance in complex environments.">
  • Familiarity with ERP/procurement systems (e.g., SAP, Ariba).">
  • Willingness to travel within NSW and ACT.">
  • University degree in engineering or business administration (preferred).">
  • CIPSA student or full membership is preferred.">
