Packaging Reliability Expert

Are you a results-driven leader with a passion for packaging performance? We're seeking an experienced Packaging Reliability Expert to join our team as the technical lead driving reliability and maintenance strategies across our critical site.

This is a leadership position that requires a curious and improvement-focused individual who can build systems, guide others, and drive results. You'll be responsible for owning performance and reliability of assigned packaging machinery, building and maintaining maintenance strategies, and collaborating with teams to identify and close skill gaps.

We're looking for someone with leadership experience in packaging environments, deep understanding of maintenance frameworks and standards, and proven experience developing SOPs and autonomous maintenance routines. If you have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, solid communication skills, and a coaching mindset, we'd love to hear from you.

About this Role

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work directly with operators, production teams, and other stakeholders to improve equipment reliability and performance. You'll also be responsible for analyzing asset performance data, troubleshooting technical breakdowns, and leading root cause investigations.

What You'll Need

  • Leadership experience in packaging environments
  • Deep understanding of maintenance frameworks and standards
  • Proven experience developing SOPs and autonomous maintenance routines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Solid communication skills and a coaching mindset
  • Familiarity with maintenance systems beneficial
  • Comfort working with ambiguity and managing competing priorities
  • A trade qualification or tertiary qualification in Engineering
