About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Grant Management Director to join our team at the National Indigenous Australians Agency. As a key member of our NSW Grants Management Unit, you will be responsible for leading and managing a large team to provide high-quality grant management and administration services to our stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of grant management professionals to ensure effective and consistent agreement management.
  • Assess and manage risk associated with grant agreements.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure contractual issues are appropriately addressed.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve grant management processes and procedures.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to staff and stakeholders on grant management and administration.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in grant management and administration, with a strong understanding of relevant legislation and policy frameworks.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
  • Cultural competency and understanding of the matters impacting Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples.
