About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager to join our Employment Solutions team at Grant Thornton. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing specialist tax advisory services to a diverse range of clients, with a particular focus on employment taxes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consulting and advising on a wide variety of employment tax matters, including FBT, Payroll Tax, Superannuation, ESS, PAYG, and employee versus contractor issues.
  • Providing international assignment consulting and compliance services across a range of clients and matters.
  • Developing FBT policies and procedures.
  • Ensuring Payroll Tax compliance.
  • Designing and implementing share plans for C-suite and all other levels.
  • Collaborating with data and technology experts to design automated tools.
  • Counseling and mentoring team members.
Requirements
  • Qualifications in Accounting, Law, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Experience in a similar or complementary role.
  • Ability to build relationships and work independently.
  • Strong research and legal interpretation skills.
  • Proactive approach to client relationships and cross-selling of services.
