Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Director to lead our Program Compliance team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in program management, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team to provide objective compliance advice, guidance, and support to programs and policy areas within the Department of Social Services.
- Develop and deliver compliance education and communication products for internal and external stakeholders.
- Work closely with stakeholders to prevent, detect, manage, and report serious and systemic grant recipient non-compliance.
- Collaborate with the Community Grants Hub to respond to serious non-compliance in the department's grant programs.
Requirements:
- Experience in leading a team to deliver compliance or program management.
- Ability to work closely with stakeholders in the prevention, detection, management, and reporting of serious and systemic grant recipient non-compliance.
- Strong background in program management, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance conducted by the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA).
Eligibility:
- Be an Australian citizen.
- Meet the eligibility requirements for a security clearance.
