Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team at HealthcareLink. As a Community Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing evidence-based services to individuals of all ages and abilities, promoting their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Intervention: Conduct thorough assessments and provide interventions to individuals with a range of disabilities, focusing on maximizing their functional capacity and social engagement.
  • NDIS Services: Work within the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) to ensure clients receive optimal support and services.
  • Assistive Technology: Assess and recommend assistive technology solutions to enhance clients' daily living and participation.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and timely documentation and report writing to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Caseload Management: Effectively manage a diverse caseload, prioritizing client needs and ensuring timely interventions.
  • Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with best practices and industry advancements.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Relevant tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy or a related field.
  • Registration: Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Screening Checks: Working with Children Check (WWCC) and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • Insurance: Professional Indemnity and Public Liability insurance.
  • Vehicle and Insurance: Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle, with car insurance.
