About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join our team at Exemplar Health Care. As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting our mission of making every day better for adults living with complex needs.

You will be responsible for providing high-quality occupational therapy services to our residents, maximizing their independence and empowering them to live their best lives. You will also lead and supervise junior therapists or therapy assistants to ensure the delivery of evidence-based, high-quality therapy and rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist assessments, clinical diagnoses, and interventions to help residents overcome challenges with everyday tasks or activities.
  • Work with the wider care team and clinical team to create person-centered care plans, support residents to achieve their goals, and evaluate their outcomes.
  • Lead and collaborate closely with the therapy team to develop and deliver person-centered occupational therapy interventions.
  • Carry out assessments and maintain accurate records for residents receiving occupational therapy.
  • Promote choice, dignity, and independence.
Requirements
  • A thorough understanding of occupational therapy best practice.
  • The ability to demonstrate an excellent range of occupational therapy interventions and treatments.
