Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at SA Health, working in the Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network, Community Health Service, Gawler/Barossa. As an Occupational Therapist, you will contribute to the delivery of a comprehensive and integrated range of health services to the local community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work as a member of a multidisciplinary team to deliver occupational therapy services to patients and clients.
  • Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans to address the needs of patients and clients.
  • Provide a range of clinical and consultative OT services across various settings, including community outpatients and inpatient settings.
  • Manage and prioritize your workload to ensure timely and effective service provision.
  • Collaborate with other health professionals and service providers to ensure seamless care and support for patients and clients.
Requirements
  • Hold an appropriate degree or equivalent qualification that entitles registration as an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.
  • Be registered with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia and maintain current registration.
  • Have strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Be able to work well within a multidisciplinary team setting and adapt to changing priorities and demands.
