Contract and Lease Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Contract and Lease Manager to join our team.

Job Description:

This critical role involves managing the entire lifecycle of contracts and lease administration, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop business requirement statements, negotiate forms of agreement, procure goods and services, and manage contracts and supplier performance.

In the leasing space, you will engage with leasing partners and internal stakeholders, including legal, to review, recommend, and gain approval for leasing decisions and administer active leases.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Effectively manage the portfolio leasing activities, communication, negotiations, and record keeping for all commercial and retail leased premises.
  • Provide regular input and status reporting on the bank's leased asset portfolio.
  • Engage with the Finance Business Partner to ensure alignment on leasing budgets and commitments.
  • Coordinate and initiate the procurement process for property and business-related goods and services, ensuring rigorous processes are followed to minimize risk and maximize benefits.
  • Work closely with the bank's Procurement Managers to ensure contracts and performance obligations are fit for purpose and maximize benefits.
Requirements:

Experience managing the entire contract lease lifecycle, including development, review, negotiations, execution, record keeping, governance, performance, and closure.

  • Able to draft clear and concise communications for stakeholders and decision makers.
  • Relevant experience in commercial or retail lease administration and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong information management skills, proficiency in Microsoft Suite and proprietary lease and contract management systems.
  • Minimum 5 years' relevant experience in a similar role.
