Job Overview

The role of Leasing Manager, Qld involves overseeing all aspects of leasing operations. Key responsibilities include coordinating the identification, acquisition, negotiation, and execution of new leases and lease renegotiations for designated territories.

This position requires close collaboration with franchisees and staff to ensure that leases are handled effectively and in accordance with procedural requirements and company policies. Renewals must be managed in a timely manner and comply with relevant State regulations.

  • Identify potential locations and opportunities suitable for relocations or brand new sites, negotiating terms with landlords to establish a sustainable business model for franchisees and minimize risk.
  • Manage existing lease portfolios, monitoring upcoming renewals or options to exercise, and engaging franchisees in the process.
  • Negotiate lease extensions and financial contributions where required to support territory teams and franchisees with remodels.
  • Foster a network of territory developers or agents to capture opportunities and develop strong relationships with major landlords.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in high-pressure environments, making quick decisions based on company policies, and managing multiple stakeholders. Strong understanding of lease negotiation and commercial real estate is essential, along with problem-solving and communication skills.

Proficiency in interpreting landlord lease statements and experience in a franchising environment are highly regarded. A degree in Property Management, Commercial, or Project Management is required, with 5+ years of similar experience.
