About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Delivery Driver with an HR licence to join our team in Newcastle. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing local and regional deliveries/pick-ups, operating forklift vehicles to load/unload trailers and vehicles, ensuring accurate reporting on driver runsheets, and conducting pre-start checks on equipment to ensure safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform local and regional deliveries/pick-ups, requiring an HR licence.
  • Operate forklift vehicles to load/unload trailers and vehicles (forklift licence required).
  • Ensure accurate reporting on driver runsheets.
  • Conduct pre-start checks on equipment to ensure safety and compliance.

Essential Experience

  • Valid HR heavy vehicle driver's licence and forklift licence.
  • Previous express freight experience preferred.
  • Multidrop understanding of Newcastle or familiarity with the area.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to perform physical labour.

Onboarding Process

Working Hours

  • Driving shifts typically start from 6-7 am, averaging an 8-hour day.

Remuneration

  • $32.00 per hour.
