We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Expert to join our Engineering Team. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing innovative solutions for complex engineering problems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to internal departments and clients by creating detailed designs, prototypes, and testing plans.
  • Interface with clients to provide technical support and engineering solutions, ensuring effective communication and timely delivery.
  • Compile engineering reports, procedure writing, engineering calculations, and other related documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Develop workpacks and associated close-out reports to optimize project efficiency.
  • Review procedures, engineering drawings, material certification, and other order-related documentation to ensure technical compliance.
  • Produce high-quality engineering drawings using Solid Works and Auto CAD software.
  • Solve valve and actuator sizing challenges.
  • Conduct control valve and PSV sizing analyses.
  • Manage flange inventory and coordinate planning efforts.
  • Perform other reasonable duties as required to meet business needs.
Requirements:
  • Engineering degree qualification is essential.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in oil & gas, mining, or other valve-related industries is required.
  • Valve-based knowledge in Oil & Gas, manufacturing, and other areas of the valve industry is necessary.
  • The ability to liaise with multi-discipline peers to coordinate work efficiently is vital.
  • Critical thinking and analytical skills are essential.
  • Proven proficiency in MS Office Database management (SAP experience advantageous).
  • Resource planning and coordination skills are desirable.
  • Experience in developing quotations and tenders is beneficial.
  • Leading and mentoring graduate engineers is highly desirable.
  • Client CMMS software experience (SAP) is desirable.
