Job Title: Mechanical Design Expert

This is a long-term, permanent position available in Perth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain mechanical systems for hydrocarbon storage and distribution, including feasibility studies, detailed design, and engineering calculations.
  • Prepare costings and proposals, attend customer sites to scope works, support installations, oversee commissioning, and provide ongoing technical troubleshooting.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget while ensuring adherence to industry standards, safety regulations, and documentation requirements.
  • Support product development, monitor system performance, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering with a minimum of 2 years' experience and be a Member of the National Engineering Register. Chartered Status (CPEng) is preferred.

They must also possess strong collaboration and communication skills, as well as the ability to confidently present recommendations and ideas internally and externally.
