Job Title:

Residential Construction Cost Estimator and Contract Manager

  • Analyse architectural plans, specifications, and project documentation to develop accurate cost estimates for high-end residential construction projects.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and detailing, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Prepare detailed quantity take-offs, material pricing, and labour estimates for various trades and scopes of work.

    Monitor project costs, track variations, and provide accurate and timely reports on project financials.

  • Prepare, review, and administer contracts, including subcontractor agreements, purchase orders, and variations.

    Assist in the procurement process by obtaining quotes, negotiating contracts, and selecting suitable suppliers.

  • Manage progress claims, invoicing, and ensure timely payment to subcontractors and suppliers.

    Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have a minimum three years' experience in a similar role across architecturally designed residential projects.

They will also possess:

  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and detailing.
  • Excellent attention to detail and proficiency using Procore.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
