Estimator and Contracts Specialist

The role of Estimator and Contracts Specialist involves managing the full estimating and contracts administration process on high-end residential construction projects. This is a hands-on position where you will be responsible for developing accurate cost estimates, preparing detailed quantity take-offs, and administering contracts.

  • Analyse architectural plans, specifications, and project documentation to develop accurate cost estimates for luxury residential construction projects.
  • Prepare detailed quantity take-offs, material pricing, and labour estimates for various trades and scopes of work.
  • Prepare, review, and administer contracts, including subcontractor agreements, purchase orders, and variations.
  • Assist in the procurement process by obtaining quotes, negotiating contracts, and selecting suitable suppliers.
  • Monitor project costs, track variations, and provide accurate and timely reports on project financials.
  • Manage progress claims, invoicing, and ensure timely payment to subcontractors and suppliers.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum three years' experience as an Estimator/Contract Administrator across architecturally designed residential projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and detailing.
  • Excellent attention to detail - able to pick up on inconsistencies or issues early.
  • Proficiency using Procore.
  • A proactive, accountable approach - you manage your own time and deliver reliably.
