Lead Research and Policy Position - Life Insurance Actuary

We are seeking an experienced life insurance actuary to shape the future of Asia's risk landscape in this senior role.

About the Opportunity:
  • Drive research projects across life, health, retirement, climate-related and protection-gap themes, delivering rigorous and actionable outputs.
  • Develop a policy engagement strategy, positioning the organisation as a thought leader across Asia.
  • Oversee operational functions to ensure strategic alignment and efficiency.
  • Convene industry working groups to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Support stakeholder engagement by articulating compelling research and policy insights.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled actuary to lead high-impact research and drive policy engagement on emerging risks. The ideal candidate will have around 10 years' professional experience in life/health insurance, actuarial science, risk management or a closely related field.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Research methodologies, actuarial modelling or risk analytics.
  • Proven organisational management skills, including leading administrative teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of influencing diverse audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, translating complex issues into practical policy recommendations.
  • Demonstrated success in fostering collaborations with industry, regulators and academia.
