Job Description">

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our technical services team. As a senior member, you will play a key role in supporting both open pit and underground operations, ensuring the integrity of pit slopes, waste rock dumps, tailings and water storage facilities.

As a geotechnical expert, you will collaborate with technical and operational teams to deliver practical, cost-effective solutions that maximise resource recovery and support long-term planning.

Key responsibilities include leading inspections, contributing to ground control strategies and managing geotechnical projects from concept to completion.

">Required Skills & Qualifications">
  • Minimum 7 years' geotechnical experience
  • Proven supervisory experience in operations, technical services or project management
  • Strong understanding of safety systems, geotechnical controls and open pit operations
  • Solid knowledge of legislative and regulatory requirements
  • Advanced user of geotechnical modelling and CAD software
  • Budget management skills and ability to meet strict deadlines

You will have a tertiary qualification in Mining, Geoscience, Civil Engineering or a related discipline with a focus on Geomechanics.
