About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our national team of clinicians providing clinical services to NDIS participants aged 0-65. As a key member of our team, you will work across early intervention, school age, adolescent and adult services with clients who have various presentations, diagnoses and disability types.

As a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will play a vital role in the personal growth and development of our clients, working together to meet their goals and celebrate their achievements. You will assess and observe participants' challenging behaviours and work towards increasing skills, improving emotion regulation and introducing replacement behaviours to reduce the use of restrictive practices.

Requirements
  • Qualifications in Psychology, Counselling, Behaviour Analysis, Teaching, Social Work, Social Sciences, Criminology, Childhood Education & Care, Health Science, Allied Health or Nursing
  • NDIS Registration as a Behaviour Practitioner (or the ability to become registered)
  • Experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disability, and other complex diagnoses (desirable)
  • A car and licence
  • A National Police Clearance, Working With Children/Working with Vulnerable People Check & NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or able to get one for a client-facing role (or willingness to obtain one before commencement)
