About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Cyber Security Project Lead to join our team at the University of New South Wales. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to lead multiple projects within our Cyber Security Enablement Program.
Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and delivering projects that align with our 2023 Identity and Access Management (IAM) Strategy. This includes planning, leading, and managing ICT projects, ensuring successful delivery on time, within scope, and budget. The role requires strong leadership and people management skills, as well as effective communication and negotiation skills to engage with senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, lead, and manage ICT projects, ensuring successful delivery on time, within scope, and budget.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, tasks, and resource requirements against timelines.
- Manage changes in project scope, timelines, and deliverables effectively while minimizing disruption to the business.
- Identify, mitigate, and resolve risks and issues related to the project, ensuring the security and integrity of access controls.
- Develop effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to develop innovative solutions that meet business needs.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A proven track record in managing multiple projects through the complete project lifecycle, particularly in the delivery of major initiatives including Identity and Access Management, Identity Governance and Administration, Zero-Trust Security, and Hybrid security operations.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience in building high-performing teams and developing staff.
- Effective interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills to engage with senior stakeholders.
- Relevant tertiary qualification and significant experience as an IT/Cyber Project Manager and/or an IT Solution Delivery Manager utilising a formal Project Management methodology, such as PRINCE2 or PMBOK and/or Agile.
Salary
The salary range for this position is $140,000 - $170,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Location
This role is based in Sydney, with flexible and hybrid working arrangements available.
