Seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopaedic Scrub/Scout Nurse to join our team in Kew, VIC.

About the Role:
  • This is a full-time on-site position for an experienced Orthopaedic Scrub/Scout Nurse.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing operating rooms, ensuring sterility, providing instruments and materials to the surgeon, and maintaining a safe and efficient environment for surgery.
  • Patient care before and after procedures, assisting with documentation, and collaborating with surgical teams to ensure high-quality care and outcomes are also key responsibilities of this role.
Key Requirements:
  • A strong background in sterile techniques, instrument handling, and surgical procedures specific to orthopaedics is essential.
  • Exceptional patient care skills, including assessment and handling of surgical documentation.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA is required.
  • Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification is desirable.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle the physical demands of the role.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and learning is expected.
