Neonatal Educator Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Neonatal Nurse or Neonatal Nurse/Midwife to join our Learning Team.

The team is committed to delivering quality education by empowering Nurses and Midwives in the public health sector.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior nursing and midwifery leaders to promote excellence in professional practice.

This role is pivotal in enabling Nurses and Midwives to practice to the fullest extent of their neonatal scope in a Special Care Nursery setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Registered Senior Nurse or Nurse/Midwife with current registration
  • Relevant post-registration qualifications and experience in Neonatal Intensive Care or related discipline
  • Recent practice in Special Care Nursery environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to demonstrate innovative approaches to problem solving
  • Experience in clinical education and training
Requirements:
  • Strong clinical, time management, organisational and communication skills
  • A compassionate, warm and flexible approach to patient care
  • Ability to build strong relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment
