A 12-month position is available for Neonatal Fellows to develop and progress their skills in the care of unwell newborns.
About the RoleThe role involves training in neonatal point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) under supervision, contributing to a 24/7 POCUS service, and developing knowledge in integrating information gained from POCUS into clinical practice.
Key Responsibilities- Develop skills in neonatal POCUS, including cardiac, cranial, abdominal, and lung ultrasound.
- Participate in multidisciplinary neonatal follow-up clinics and unit educational activities.
- Contribute to research related to neonatal POCUS.
- At least 12 months of experience in a level 6 neonatal intensive care unit.
- Basic Neonatal CCPU lecture series completion through protected teaching.
- State-of-the-art equipment and facilities.
This opportunity offers direct supervision from an ASUM-accredited Neonatal CCPU Supervisor and a chance to work with state-of-the-art equipment and facilities.
