About Us

Key Responsibilities:

  • To ensure timely, effective and efficient bookkeeping functions including bank and general ledger reconciliations, client billing and collection of accounts receivables, review of supplier invoices and payment of accounts payables;
  • To build strong relationships with our management team to understand their strategic goals and provide financial insights and guidance to support decision-making;
  • To ensure our accounting policies and procedures are compliant with applicable accounting standards and regulations;
  • To collaborate with business teams to develop key performance indicators, track progress, and provide regular updates to our leadership team;
  • To prepare monthly financial reports and presentations to provide insights into business performance and support decision-making;
  • To review, prepare and process fortnightly payroll and staff reimbursements;
  • To manage and reconcile Clients funds held;
  • To prepare and lodge monthly BAS,IAS, Payroll tax, workcover and other statutory requirements;
  • To perform other tasks or projects as necessary or required by the role;

Essential Qualifications:

We require:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting/Finance;
  • Experience with Xero Accounting Software;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Strong computer skills; advanced Excel skills;
  • Strong knowledge of technical accounting, together with commercial acumen to apply these practically in a growing environment;
  • Able to display practical application of this knowledge in bringing control and process improvement to the processes fundamental to the effective operation of the finance function within our organisation;
  • Excellent organisational, analytical and conceptual skills and demonstrated experience in implementing change, including in financial policies, procedures and processes across our organisation;
