Job Title:Financial Operations SpecialistDescription:

The role of a Financial Operations Specialist is to provide financial guidance and support to business units, ensuring timely and accurate financial decisions.

  • Accounting Reconciliation: Reconcile balance sheets and prepare journals for accuracy.
  • Cash Flow Forecasting: Assist in preparing daily cash flow forecasts for timely decision-making.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly financial reports, tracking performance against budget and analyzing variances.
  • Statutory Compliance: Prepare reports for management and statutory purposes.
  • Financial Analysis: Provide commentary on financial reports and identify areas for improvement.
  • Financial Discrepancies: Resolve discrepancies through thorough research and critical thinking.
  • Communication: Coordinate accounting matters with other departments.

Requirements:

Financial Knowledge: Sound knowledge of accounting principles.

Interpersonal Skills: Good interpersonal and communication skills.Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail.Teamwork: Ability to work independently and with teams.

Qualifications and Experience:

Accounting Qualifications: AQF bachelor's degree in accounting and finance.

Work Experience: Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
