Financial Analyst Opportunity

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Financial Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing financial data, analyzing trends, and preparing reports to support business decisions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing month-end procedures in Xero, including management accounts, discrepancy investigation, commentary, and variance analysis.
  • Preparing quarterly financial reports, balance sheet reconciliations, budget development, and business case presentation.
  • Monitoring cash flow through actual and projected performance analysis, reporting weekly to senior management.
  • Preparation and presentation of financial reports to Site Managers, management, and stakeholders.
  • Analysis and monitoring of financial and non-financial Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Collaboration with Site Managers to improve financial reporting processes.
  • Maintenance and standardization of accounting systems and processes.
  • Leading the annual audit process and preparing Financial Statements.

Candidates should possess:

  • At least five years' experience in a similar role within industries such as Retirement, Aged Care, Building, Construction, Property Development, or Real Estate.
  • A minimum of 5+ years combined accounting and finance experience.
  • An advanced Degree in Accounting.
  • CPA or CA qualification preferred.
  • Thorough understanding of management accounting principles and techniques.
  • Experience in a similar level role.
  • Advanced proficiency with accounting and CRM software.

This is a permanent full-time position based in Adelaide, Australia.
