Dedicated Nursing Professional Wanted

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our clinical team on a part-time basis. As a member of our team, you will provide exceptional care and service excellence to our residents, working both independently and as part of a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clinical Care: Provide high-quality care to residents in line with our Model of Care, prioritizing their health and well-being.
- Medication Management: Check medication and undertake medication rounds where required, ensuring the safety and quality of care.
- Families and Stakeholders: Engage with families and other stakeholders to build relationships and trust, acting as a key point of contact for clinical discussions.
- New Admissions: Support new admissions with care and sensitivity, following our admissions pathway to ensure a smooth transition.
You will be responsible for conducting resident assessments, care planning, and evaluations, maintaining accurate documentation to meet legislative requirements. Additionally, you will demonstrate leadership in infection control, manual handling, and care provision principles, educating staff on related policies and procedures.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor of Nursing with full AHPRA registration (no restrictions)
- Post Graduate experience (preferred 3 years)
- Up-to-date qualifications in First Aid and CPR
- Demonstrated clinical assessment skills
- Ability to mentor and lead others
- A warm and empathetic approach
- Comprehensive clinical knowledge of the ageing process & health and a working knowledge of relevant Aged Care legislation
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; listening, written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
