Project Engineer Role

This is a dynamic and challenging role that involves supporting power generation asset management with technical and inspection responsibilities.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and coordinate comprehensive engineering, non-destructive testing (NDT), and metallurgical solutions for boilers, turbines, and ancillary plant issues.
  • Perform regular plant inspections and compile detailed reports.
  • Ensure strict adherence to pressure equipment regulations during outage periods.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project success.
About You
  • You will need a degree or certificate in Mechanical or Materials Engineering, with graduate engineers also considered.
  • AICIP qualification is highly desirable.
  • You should have experience working in heavy industry such as Power Plants, Oil and Gas, or Process Industries, preferably in engineering, inspection, or advanced NDT roles.
  • You will be responsible for risk and hazard identification and assessment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all levels are essential.
  • You must be able to work independently and as part of a skilled team.
  • Dynamic, self-motivated, results-oriented individuals with a strong sense of urgency and willingness to learn are ideal candidates.
  • You will be proactive in upholding compliance with company safety and quality objectives.
  • Ability to build rapport at all organizational levels is required.
