Winemaking Laboratory Expert

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our winemaking team as a laboratory expert. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the quality and consistency of our wines through accurate and timely laboratory analysis.
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine laboratory tests, including sulphur dioxide and pH/TA analysis
- Maintain and calibrate lab equipment
- Record and report analytical results accurately
- Operate laboratory equipment to perform tests involving a narrow range of variables
Required Qualifications:
- A relevant tertiary qualification, preferably with a focus on chemistry and mathematics
- Certificate II in Sampling and Measurement or equivalent
- Ability to work shifts and weekends is essential

Working Conditions:
This is a shift-based position, operating on a 24/5 roster outside of peak season and transitioning to a 24/7 schedule during peak vintage periods. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, adherence to quality and safety protocols, and a commitment to maintaining product integrity.
