Job Title: Laboratory Professional

Role Summary:

As a skilled Laboratory Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting the winemaking process through accurate and timely laboratory analyses. The successful candidate will work closely with the team to ensure precision and accuracy in all analytical results.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine laboratory tests, including sulphur dioxide and pH/TA analysis to support wine quality and safety protocols.

  • Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure precise and accurate test results.

  • Record and report analytical results accurately, adhering to established quality and safety standards.

  • Collaborate with the team to maintain laboratory hygiene and orderliness, and adhere to BRC, HACCP, and NATA protocols.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • SACE stage 2 with chemistry and maths is desirable for candidates looking to excel in this role.

  • Certificate II in Sampling and Measurement or equivalent is preferred for effective performance.

  • The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and teamwork skills to work effectively across multiple laboratory areas and shift schedules.

  • Flexibility and adaptability are essential qualities for this role, as the candidate will be required to work under close supervision and take ownership of specific tasks and responsibilities.
