Data Centre Operations Specialist

We are seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our facility. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of data centres, including electrical and mechanical configurations, rack management, design and installation.

Key responsibilities include managing facility staff and contractors, overseeing maintenance, and ensuring quality delivery of services to customers.

Experience working in a 24/7 critical facility environment, such as hospitals, manufacturing or airports, is essential.

Requirements:
  • Extensive knowledge of data centres
  • Understanding of high-density data centre power, cooling approaches and technologies
  • Extensive knowledge of cabling & cable management and quality inspection / assurance
  • Knowledge of various codes and applicable regulations
  • Customer-focused attitude
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, knowledge of BMS and other computer-based building service systems
  • Strong planning, organisational and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
