Champion Data is now seeking highly motivated people to join our casual match day data collection team in South Australia – Adelaide.
There are positions available across various roles during the 2026 Season for the SANFL League, Reserves, U16, U18 & Women's competitions which are outlined below:
- LIVE CALLER
– Call live player statistics to capture operator using a pair of binoculars provided by the employee
(role conducted at venue) - LIVE CAPTURE
– Listening to the caller and capturing all statistics using a computer and mouse provided by the company
(role conducted at venue)
Employees are retained across seasons therefore successful applicants can continue with the company for future years without reapplying.
About You
- High availability on Saturday's between late February - September based on approximately 70% of SANFL fixtured matches being played on this day of the week
- A thorough knowledge of the rules of AFL (essential)
- A proven record in accountability, reliability, and punctuality
- Clear and concise communication skills
- Familiarity with Windows environments
- Capable under pressure
- Work on a rotating roster alongside existing casual staff
- Communicate openly by exchanging information and actively listening to all stakeholders
- Work together collaboratively to achieve outstanding results

Application / Training Timeline
Applicants must be able to commit to the following during the paid training process.
- Approximately 10 – 15 one-hour sessions with their trainer across November, December & February and 2/3 three-hour sessions at venue during March when live matches are being played.
Online training content will need to be completed in preparation for the one-on-one sessions, this time is unpaid.
Aligning potential applicants with the most appropriate role requires a time commitment. Please ensure you can accommodate the above estimated timeline and requirements before applying.
