The Role
This opportunity presents the chance to lead a team in developing customer strategies to maximize market share and value across the company's portfolio.
The objective is to introduce best practice B2B marketing activities to enable the organization to become a market leader within the large business energy segment.
You will oversee a program aiming to radically increase awareness and consideration of the company in the market by leveraging key episodes in the customer lifecycle, driving PR/earned media, and promoting customer case studies across various owned assets.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead a team of marketing specialists, working collaboratively with other stakeholders to achieve marketing and broader business objectives
- Manage the deployment of content across the website and lead the deployment of quarterly market reports to increase engagement among customers
- Coordinate highly engaging and effective events for customers, including webinars, industry breakfasts, and conference speaking slots
- Drive the adoption of new digital platforms by leveraging all aspects of the customer lifecycle and engaging customers with creative and compelling content
- Develop go-to-market strategies supporting the achievement of key metrics, including increasing customer engagement in non-commodity products, VPP volume, and establishing strategic accounts
- Maintain customer collateral for products within the launch pad that the sales team can leverage for customer interactions
- Accountability for the Strategic Marketing program and marketing plans across commodity and non-commodity products
About You?
To be considered for this role, you will be a self-starter with a track record of successful stakeholder engagement. You have a positive approach and are passionate about sustainable energy solutions for customers, communities, and the planet.
More About You:
- Degree qualified in relevant disciplines
- Minimum 10-15 years' experience in product and marketing roles, including 10+ years in strategic marketing, product marketing/management, or brand/category management
- Minimum 5 years people management experience, including leading teams through periods of change
- Significant experience managing and developing marketing or product portfolios, including P&L, budgets, and commercial targets
- Demonstrated successful delivery of business initiatives and change programs
- Ability to advise and discuss ideas with senior management with confidence, conviction, and professionalism
- Experience in large-scale matrix organizations
- Strong collaboration, stakeholder management, and influencing skills
