Night Manager Job Description

The Night Manager plays a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of hotel overnight operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide efficient guest services, including check-in/out, request handling, and providing hotel information.
  • Settle and maintain guest accounts, ensuring accurate cashiering.
  • Maintain strict security procedures to ensure guest confidentiality and safety.
  • Maintain hotel's standard of professionalism.
  • Be analytical and possess an eye for detail.
  • Assist Front Office Manager and General Manager in various check and balance procedures.

Requirements:

  • Guest-obsessed focus with ability to adapt in fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to navigate through change and provide quick-thinking solutions when problems arise.
  • Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office, and Opera.
  • Availability to work rotating roster 2 nights per week.
  • Valid Australian working rights.
