Dispute Resolution Specialist

We are seeking a Dispute Resolution Specialist to join our Melbourne team. As part of this specialised and dedicated team, you will play a key role in managing all aspects of dispute applications lodged against adverse decisions made by the TAC that impact our clients' statutory entitlements.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Process and litigate disputes throughout the appeal process.
  2. Manage and progress individual files with proficiency.
  3. Communicate with clients including explanation of legal concepts, obtaining instructions and managing expectations.
  4. Reviewing and analysing liability and quantum material and requesting further material.
  5. Drafting of legal and client correspondence and documents.
  6. Developing understanding of strategy used in similar matters.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in legal support as a Legal Clerk or Senior Legal Assistant is desired.
  • Demonstrable understanding of and experience with dispute resolution processes is desirable.
  • Experience in high volume personal injury practice is required.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • A team player who can work independently.
