Senior Product Sales Manager Job Description

This senior-level position is responsible for leading a team of product sales specialists who are subject matter experts in digital solutions. The team provides product specialist support to the sales teams, driving revenue through best practice sales enablement and supporting critical areas such as new initiatives, product expertise, and in-market knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, coach, and supervise product specialists to achieve business revenue targets while managing a portfolio of key clients.
  • Drive strong collaboration with sales teams to develop a robust sales pipeline through proactive and reactive solutions.
  • Contribute to business plans developed by vertical leads, supporting opportunity development and identification of key client targets.
  • Analyze channel performance to identify client and category opportunities.
  • Engage in significant in-market activity and customer engagement as the product expert supporting the sales teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide greater service and value to clients, ensuring the product proposition meets their needs.
  • Collaborate with product managers to define revenue opportunities, procure test partners, deliver go-to-market propositions, and product updates to the sales team.
  • Foster and improve senior-level relationships with clients, understanding their strategy and business goals, and current and future opportunities for the product suite.
  • Provide market feedback, thought leadership, and recommend case studies and test and learn opportunities to drive further support revenue growth.
  • Maintain marketing collateral and ensure it effectively delivers the product proposition.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in digital media.
  • Experience in sales and/or team leader roles.
  • Strategic thinking and delivery of performance and outcome-based solutions for clients.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality results against revenue and retention targets.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to build relationships.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Results-driven and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
