About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our R&D team at RunTime Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for spearheading the development and testing of innovative IoT solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and Develop Firmware: Design and develop firmware for cutting-edge IoT products, ensuring they meet the highest industry standards.
  2. Lead Prototyping and Testing: Lead the prototyping and field testing of solutions in challenging environments, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
  3. Collaborate with Technology Partners: Collaborate closely with technology partners to develop advanced wireless solutions, driving innovation and growth.
  4. Project Planning and Management: Create and manage detailed project plans, ensuring timelines and progress are on track, and coordinating team meetings to maintain clear communication.
  5. Documentation and Progress Updates: Document all R&D activities and provide regular progress updates to management, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  6. Compliance and Safety: Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, particularly in hazardous environments, and mentor junior engineers to ensure efficiency and innovation.
Requirements
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics Engineering or a related field.
  2. Experience: Over 3 years of experience in firmware development for IoT products, with expertise in programming with the Espressif Integrated Framework (ESP-IDF).
  3. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of wireless communication technologies, including DSRC, UWB, and LoRa, and proficiency in using PlatformIO and Eclipse IDE for development.
  4. Project Management: Experienced in project management, including planning, execution, and timeline management, with excellent communication skills and proven ability to coordinate teams effectively.
  5. Additional Requirements: Valid driver's license and ability to conduct field testing in demanding underground environments.
