About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Management Professional to join our team at Locagroup Building. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for providing project management expertise to multiple jobs, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Management: Develop and implement project plans, including preparation and monitoring of job programs, lead times, and schedules of activities.
  • Resource Management: Manage project resources and management requirements, including material orders, lead times, delivery strategies, and resource scheduling.
  • Tendering and Contract Management: Tender for and manage subcontracts and supplier agreements, ensuring that all necessary documentation is in place.
  • Reporting and Communication: Provide regular reports to directors on project progress, and maintain strong communication lines with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Team Management: Manage and inspire direct reports, including site supervisors and site staff, to ensure that projects are delivered to the required standard.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: A tertiary qualification in Construction or Engineering, or a trade background.
  • Experience: Several years' experience as a project engineer and/or coordinator from residential construction.
  • Skills: Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team, and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
