The Role

We are seeking a Key Account Manager to join our team in Brisbane. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for calling on key target customers across hospital neonatal, maternity, and paediatric wards. Your primary objective will be to present our products to groups including dietitians, procurement teams, healthcare professionals, and tender boards.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Ensure business performance in the defined geographical area aligns with the company's strategy and promotional plans.
  2. Manage a portfolio of target customers by achieving key performance indicators (KPIs).
  3. Maintain long-term sustainable relationships with key stakeholders in the infant formula sector.
  4. Work closely with other nutritional healthcare representatives to ensure collaboration and effectiveness in the designated geographic area.
  5. Deliver tailored product knowledge, education, and resource solutions to targeted customers.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A tertiary qualification in Nursing, Dietetics, Health Sciences, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in the paediatric or neonatal field and/or pharmaceuticals sales.
  • The ability to organise and run virtual and face-to-face meeting platforms.
  • A drive for results and a passion for sales.
  • Customer focus with the desire to understand and anticipate customer needs.
  • Proven ability to negotiate and build long-term relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Well-developed time management skills with the ability to be flexible and meet conflicting deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft platforms such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
