About the Role: We are seeking a highly experienced academic leader to provide disciplinary leadership in Information Technology and Systems. The appointee will oversee the delivery of ITS courses across all modes, including online and face-to-face.

About the Position: As the successful candidate, you will lead the academic development, delivery, and quality assurance of VIT's ITS courses. This includes Bachelor of Information Technology and Systems, Master of Information Technology and Systems, Graduate Certificate and Graduate Diploma in Information Technology and Systems, and the Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Information System Studies.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide disciplinary leadership in Information Technology and Systems
  • Oversight of ITS course delivery across all modes
  • Academic development, delivery, and quality assurance of ITS courses

Required Skills and Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum 5 years' experience in a leadership role, preferably in Australia. You should also possess a doctoral qualification (AQF 10) or equivalent blend of qualification and experience. A teaching qualification is desirable.
