Information Technology Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a visionary and innovative Information Technology leader to shape the future of our IT programs.

  • This leadership role is key to enhancing educational excellence, scholarship, stakeholder relevance, and the implementation of the Higher Education Standards Framework.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead staff in achieving institutional strategy, with a focus on curriculum development, academic rigor, teaching, and scholarship.

  • Key responsibilities include:
    • Leading enhancements to student outcomes and experience, operational efficiency, regulatory reporting, and academic learning & teaching collaboratively with other departments
    • Contributing to the future and development of the institution, participating actively and constructively in project teams and committees
    • Monitoring and analysing student cohort data, evaluating student experiences and outcomes, and submitting annual course and subject reports to academic governance
    • Ensuring effective course delivery across different locations and modes, ensuring quality and consistency in content, course delivery, assessments strategies, and student evaluation

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A PhD in Information Technology or a related field with a specialisation in Cyber Security or Data Analytics
  • Knowledge and understanding of current and emerging technologies, trends, skills in the field of Information Technologies and specialisations in Cyber Security and/or Big Data/Data Analytics
  • Significant experience in teaching diverse range of students across undergraduate and postgraduate programs
  • Industry experience and engagement with professions
  • Senior leadership experience in higher education
